Phoenix The Golden Cat

Hi! I'm Phoenix, I'm a sleepy golden kitty and sometimes a tiger :3 

 

I joined the furry fandom in July 2022 (when I was 14 years old), and since then, it has grown into something very close to my heart. I've met many amazing people who introduced me to the positive and beautiful sides of furry characters and their communities, and also some new interests - I believe that at its best this community can truly be a net positive for all. However, some of the impressions I was given (that the furry fandom was a loving and accepting place, that it was safe, and that it was friendly to all non-harmful identities) have not held up throughout my years in the fandom, as I witness dangers like zoophiles, groomers, and mental health struggles nearly every week. I want to protect people in this fandom that means so much to me, help build a safer furry community, and help reform the fandom into a place that both helps its members heal and doesn't accept abusive groups. I also hope to be a person that others can approach if they have witnessed any dangers they want to bring to public attention, as well as if they just need some comfort or support. I hope my support will bring this campaign to success!
